Sales Representative - Berlin & East Germany

 In order to reinforce our Field Service Engineer team in the DACH region, we are actively looking for a 


Sales Account Manager

North-West Germany (m/f/d) 

 As a Sales Account Manager, you are the representative of Tosoh brand to the customer. You operate as primary account management contact with customer account; with a focus to promote all Tosoh products, increase customer loyalty, secure retention, drive value expansion and improve economic profitability. You act as trusted partner to existing customers and manage and drive development of accounts according to strategic account plan. 


Your Responsibilities: 

  •  Promote and sell a portfolio of products and / or services and solution to existing and potential customers. 

  • Provide professional leadership in planning, organising, and controlling sales growth, continued account penetration, and customer satisfaction. 

  • Utilise strong product / market knowledge and sales experience to manage complex sales and resolve customer questions and concerns. 

  • Retain, extend, and acquire customers through effective identification of opportunities and the creation and implementation of solutions. 

  • Create, monitor and revise plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. 

  • Meet or over achieve Company targets. 

  • Maintain positive relationships with existing customer base. 

  • Develop new relationships with prospective customers. 

  • Provide operational assistance when necessary to maintain business continuity. 

  • Cooperate with Technical Support and Marketing teams to monitor and achieve customer satisfaction. 

  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, making recommendations to management. 

  • Keep management informed by maintaining records on area and customer sales. 

  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc. 

  • Build image and brand in eyes of customer. 

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending designated training as and when required. 

  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures 

Your Profile:

  • Master or Bachelor of Science or equivalent 

  • Ideally 3 years (or above) of sales experience with proven track record in IVD market , laboratory background is a plus 

  • Readiness to travel extensively with overnight stays as required 

  • Located in the North-West of Germany 

    Personal Skills:

    • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills 

    • Drive for success and accomplishment 

    • Customer-orientation, flexibility and personal accountability 

    • Excellent local language 

    • Fluent English (spoken) is mandatory 

    • MS Office, SAP (or equivalent)
