Field Service Engineer
Region Central-South Germany (m/f/d)
The Field Service Engineer provides technical support to customers, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance.
Your Responsibilities:

Provide support including but not limited to; installation, upgrades, demonstrations, evaluations, basic operator training, troubleshooting, hotline support, problem solving and maintenance of products and services by documenting; following-up and trace calls according with Tosoh quality system procedures.

Deliver remote (e.g., telephone, online) technical troubleshooting and support services to ensure that all products and services function properly.

Ensure the latest modifications and mandatory updates are carried out.

Ensure all preventive maintenances are performed in a timely manner and efficient way.

Compare test results with specifications and standards; record test results and data.

Partner cross-functionally and internally while maintaining positive relationships and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

Report activity using support tools software.

Proactively improve expertise through continuous learning.

Provide first level application support.

Manage and maintain correct accounting and usage of own spare parts – car stock.

Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures.
Your Profile:
-
Technical engineering degree or equivalent by experience
-
3+ years of relevant field service engineering experience in Clinical Diagnostics
-
Native German or C2 level (written & verbal)
-
Position is located ideally near Frankfurt

Willingness to travel up to 60%
Personal Skills:
-
Bachelor Degree in Technology, Engineering or Electronics
-
Experience in an IVD environment is an asset
-
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
-
Customer-focused with a service- oriented attitude
-
Proficiency in verbal English is a plus
