Field Service Engineer
South-Germany (m/f/d)
The Field Service Engineer provides technical support to customers, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution and maintenance.
The Field Service Engineer is expected to:
- Provide support including but not limited to; installation, upgrades, demonstrations, evaluations, basic operator training, troubleshooting, hotline support, problem solving and maintenance of products and services by documenting; following-up and trace calls according with Tosoh quality system procedures.
- Deliver remote (e.g., telephone, online) technical troubleshooting and support services to ensure that all products and services function properly.
- Ensure the latest modifications and mandatory updates are carried out.
- Ensure all preventive maintenances are performed in a timely manner and efficient way.
- Compare test results with specifications and standards; record test results and data.
- Partner cross-functionally and internally while maintaining positive relationships and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Report activity using support tools software.
- Proactively improve expertise through continuous learning.
- Provide first level application support.
- Manage and maintain correct accounting and usage of own spare parts – car stock.
- Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Technology, Engineering or Electronics
- Experience in an IVD environment is an asset
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Fluent English (spoken) is a plus
- Located in South Germany
